The lovely people from Die Sellerie sent me some samples of their beautiful paper goods collection already some months ago… Shame on me that it took so much time until I show it to you! Since I’m a mom the clocks tick differently… But I really wanted to create something long lasting and special with those pretty wrapping papers!
So here comes – two weeks before Easter and therefore again a little late – a DIY for paper Easter eggs! I don’t like those kitschy colors that often come along with Easter, but with monochrome graphical wrapping paper and colored cardboard paper you can give Easter a stylish touch!
You will need: colored cardboard paper, monochrome wrapping paper, egg template, baker’s twine, scissors, glue
Print out this egg template and cut it out. Optional you can transfer it on cardboard. Use the template to transfer 7 eggs on the colored cardboard paper and 7 eggs on the wrapping paper for one egg. Cut them all out, fold them in half and paste them back-to-back. Glue the parts together so that two halves arise. Before gluing the two halves together, put a loop in center then glue. Let it dry for some minutes – done!
Happy Easter!
